Wayne Gary Courcy, 76, of Burlington passed away surrounded by his faithful friends at University of Vermont Medical Center on June 23, 2021. He was born on June 6, 1945 to the late Ernest and Lena (White) Courcy. He graduated from Burlington High School. For many years he was a champion weight lifter. He retired from IBM after working many years, and went on to work for himself helping many people all over Chittenden County. He was a man of great faith and was beloved by all those who knew him at Faith Baptist Church in Winooski. He took great pride in being a Sunday School Teacher and coach.
Left to cherish his memory are is brother Ernie and wife Martha, nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Tuesday June 29 at 10:00AM. Donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Mission Fund. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
