Obituary for Walter Bergeron
alter L. Bergeron, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 17,2021 at the McClure/Miller Respite House. He was born on November 1,1934 the son of the late Walter A. & Laura Bergeron
He married Geneva S. (Normandin) Bergeron in May of 1959 and they spent 62 years together .
Walter was a sheet metal worker for over 40 years, working locally. He also co-founded Bergeron Hardware Store in Mallettes Bay in 1972, with his two brothers , Clayton and Paul Bergeron .
He was a founding member of the Knights of Columbus .
He was the father of Thomas Bergeron, Sheryl Bergeron , Andrew (Andy) Bergeron, grandfather to five grandsons Brian, Brett, Jordan , Jarred and Dylan and great grandfather to Aiden , Killian and Kash. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews , cousins, sister in law Joan Bergeron , brother in law Raymond Normandin and wife Carol .
He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Laura, sister Theresa and his brothers Clayton, Paul and his wife Judith Bergeron, and his grandson Brian Malson.
He was very loved and will be missed by all .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 11:30AM, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
