Roland A. Morin, 92, went to join his family and to be with the Lord on February 14, 2022
at his home in Burlington VT, following a brief illness. He was born in Burlington VT., on
September 29, 1929, the son of William and Norma Duhamel Morin. He was a lifelong resident
of Burlington.
Roland graduated from Burlington High School. He was drafted into the Army in 1951. He
served our country from 1951-1953 in Salzburg, Austria. Upon his return home he was employed
with McGreavy Buick Garage for 12 years. He then moved on to become a Burlington

We will miss Uncle Roland’s wonderful stories of trips to Montreal and Atlantic City playing the
slots. He really enjoyed the casinos. Roland’s other passion was riding motorcycles. Many an
afternoon was spent riding his Harley Davidson. The best times would be participating for an
entire weekend in the annual bike show in Laconia NH. He will also be remembered for his early
morning walks in the Mall with his friends, followed by breakfast at McDonald’s.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Louis and Armand, as well as one sister, Simone A.
Kinville. Roland leaves behind one Godchild and Caregiver niece, Susan K. Paris, and several
nieces and nephews.
