Obituary for Rodney Keith Donaldson
Rodney Keith Donaldson passed away unexpectedly June 2, 2020. Rodney was born Oct. 28 1955 in Burlington, Vt., the son of Malcolm and Kathleen (Lawrance) Donaldson.
He grew up in Winooski and attended Winooski High School. Rodney worked for Acme Paint and Glass for many years installing flooring. He was a very giving person and would help anyone, all you had to do was ask. He was happiest when he was outdoors either hunting, fishing, or camping.
Rodney will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Rodney is survived by daughter Jessica Aikey of Rutland, brother Gary and sister-in-law Mary of Hinesburg, sister Lynn Romero of Winooski, sister Gloria Giroux of Essex Jct., brother Allen of South Burlington, sister Laura Hebert and brother-in-law Mike of Richmond, brother Steve and sister-in-law Anna of Colchester, brother David of Burlington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless friends whom he adored. He was predeceased by his mother Kathleen and brother Malcolm.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis those attending please wear masks and observe social distancing rules. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
