Obituary for Lena Marie Trono (Provost)
Lena M (Provost) Trono died peacefully at Our Lady of Providence, Winooski Vermont on December 30, 2020.
Lena, born in 1932 in Winooski, Vermont where she was a lifelong resident, passed away on December 30, 2020 at Our Lady of Providence in Winooski. Lena was predeceased by husband, John E Trono, parents Frank and Pomela Provost and siblings, Henry, Larry, Edward, Arthur and Doris. Lena is survived by her children John A Trono and Pamela M Trono and their families.
Lena (known as Lee) worked for many years at the Winooski Public Library and was a parishioner at St Francis Xavier and St Stephen churches. She loved the sun, Marble Island Resort and Keeler Bay Campground, her dogs, Midgie and then Dolly, large house parties with family and friends, a cup of coffee with her peanut butter and Ritz crackers, road trips with friends, sweets, sitting on the porch watching Main Street traffic, reading and watching Hallmark movies, playing cards, putting together puzzles, and playing many other games, especially Parcheesi - with the people she adored.
She was loved and will be missed.
