Obituary for Kristina Perrin (Perrin)

Kristina Melissa Perrin left this world on January 12, 2021, far too young, but touched and impacted the lives of so many throughout her 37 years. She was an angel to anyone who needed the protection or support, a source of inspiration for those who had lost hope, and a healer drawing wisdom from her scars. Kristina and her dynamite spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kristina grew up as a spirited child who was always on the move, making friends easily and often in pursuit of her next adventure. She fought to live her truth. She laughed loudly. She loved fiercely. Several tragedies led to the losses of close friends, classmates, and family during her youth, shaping her endless empathy for others through the sympathy of suffering she knew far too well. Kristina loved singing, arts, crafts, and children, especially her two nephews who absolutely adored their Auntie Nina. She bore a smile that could light up a room and a bold, vibrant personality full of boundless energy to help and inspire those around her. Kristina never lost her child within, whether through the private smirk across the room at an inside joke, a full belly laugh when it was least expected, or a stolen hug when someone didn't feel enough. Kristina is survived by her parents, Cynthia and Robert Perrin, her brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Erin Navin Perrin, her two nephews, Keegan and Connor Perrin, and countless family and friends.
Kristina’s visiting hours will be held at LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St, Winooski, VT on Sunday, January 17th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for those who are local, masks and social distancing are reqired. We will carry out Kristina's wishes with a Celebration of Life in her hometown of Warren, MA in May. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kristina's name to Turning Point Center (https://turningpointcentervt.org/) or the Ronald McDonald House (https://www.rmhcvt.org/).
