Kenneth Campbell Lamphere Sr.
Passed away at home on December 22, 2020.
He was born on July 24, 1933 in Waterbury, VT.
Ken was a chef at various colleges and retired from Marriott / Sodexo after 30 years.
He was hard working, talented and a loving husband and father.
With a lifelong passion for cooking you could find Ken in the kitchen or in the garden.
Ken planted a flower and vegetable garden every year and couldn’t wait for the first tomato and
cucumber.
He shared the love of music with his wife Loretta, family and friends.
Ken’s talent enabled him to play many instruments, The guitar, mandolin, accordion, harmonica, banjo
and organ.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trips to the casino with his family.
He was predeceased by his beautiful, loving wife of 45 years Loretta in 2000.
He leaves his 5 children and their spouses. Ken and Sherry Lamphere of Wilson ,NC, Brenda Wheel of
Essex Jct., Dan and Sue Lamphere of Colchester, Steve and Glenna Lamphere of Wilson, NC, and
Allen Lamphere of Colchester.
8 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren
A sincere thank you to Allen Lamphere who took care of Dad at home with tenderness and strength and
gave Dad many extra days.

A special thank you to the Home Health and Hospice team for their compassionate care.

A graveside service will be held December 29th at Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington.
