Obituary for Jose "Pepi" Cadrecha
Jose S. “Pepi” Cadrecha passed away on January 2, 2022. He was born in the middle of a hurricane on October 7, 1944 in Havana, Cuba to the late Jose M. and Maria (Insunza) Cadrecha.
He volunteered for the Civil Air Patrol with his father for several years. In Cuba he attended Havana Military School. After he graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he went to work at his one job at IBM that he stayed for more than forty years at until he retired. He was an avid metal detector, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a true nature lover. He married the love of his life Maria Aida Cadrecha on December 28, 1968.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Aida, daughter Christine and wife Carla, extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his son Robert Cadrecha
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday January 15 at 1:00PM at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St. Winooski, VT.
