James “Jim” Anger, 67, of Colchester passed away on August 23, 2021 at University of Vermont Medical Center. He was born to Joseph and Ann (Beaulieu) Anger on March 25, 1954 in St. Johnsbury, VT. He worked for many years in Logistics at Hayward Tyler and then IBM. He married the love of his life Deborah Blair on September 30, 1977 at St. Stephen’s Church in Winooski. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting with the occasional trip to the casino. The thing he loved more than anything else was his family, especially spending time at the family camp.

James worked hard to provide the best for family, always putting the needs of others before his own. His unwavering and unconditional love became the bedrock on which his family was built. He was a big man with a bigger heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Deb, son Nick, daughter Amber, granddaughter Autumn, mother Ann, siblings Joe, Dave, and Stephen. He was predeceased by his father Joseph.

Visiting hours celebrating his life will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., Winooski, VT 05404. Donations in his memory may be made to the Leukemia Society.
