Eva R Willette, 82, of Essex, died suddenly with her family by her side at Fletcher Allen Hosptal on September 29, 2021.
Eva was born in August 1939 to the late Eva and George Landry of Mallets Bay. She attended St. Francis School and Winooski High School.
She retired from Homeland Security where she had been employed for over 20 years.
Eva enjoyed photography, birdwatching, talking with family and friends, fall foliage, watching golf and Nascar, shopping and a good spaghetti dinner.
Eva was predeceased by son Michael in 2020 and daughter Laura in 2021.
She is survived by son James Willette Jr, daughter Jeanne Jones, granddaughters Moriah Jones and Genevieve Willette, grandsons Ben Willette and Jamie Willette as well a several great grandchildren, son in law Rick Mead, daughter in law Lori Willette, brother Norman Landry, sister in law Carlene Landry and many nieces and nephews, and her good friend Kathy Thomas.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday October 6 at Lavigne Funeral Home 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday October 7 at St. Francis Church in Winooski at 10am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Burlington Humane Society.
