A lone post (so far) to honor a life well lived.

I am sorry to say that I did not know very much about Dolores having met her and her husband Francis during the winter seasons of their bountiful years at St. Francis Xavier Catholic church in Winooski.

What I am sure of is that Dolores LaPoint, was the devoted wife of Francis LaPoint. She married the love of her life on August 19, 1967. Dolores told me that she was born in Pennsylvania and later worked in New Jersey where she met Francis. The LaPointes moved to Vermont to be close to Francis' family after they retired. As a couple, they enjoyed car rides, meals out and in the summer, visiting the beaches in Maine. Dolores was a faith filled woman with an everlasting affinity for the children she assisted as a crossing guard in the Burlington School District.

Rest in Peace Dolores.
