Obituary for Deanna Russell
Deanna Marie (LeClair) Russell, 48, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 unexpectedly from heart and diabetes complications.
Deanna was born September 27, 1973 to George and Linda (Vartuli) LeClair of Hinesburg. She graduated from CVU High School Class of 1991.
Deanna is survived by her daughter Dawna Sheldrick (Rick Bodington) of New Haven, her son George Russell of St. George, her parents George and Linda LeClair of Hinesburg, brother Ben (Michelle) LeClair, and their children Celia and Luc of Georgia, VT, her sister Cora LeClair (Anthony Johnson) and her children Oliver and Viviana of Hinesburg; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Ben and Laurette LeClair of Hinesburg and maternal grandparents Raymond and Rita Vartuli of Colchester.
Deanna worked at Blodgett Oven Mfrs. and Dick’s Sporting Goods. She loved to cook and create recipes. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2-6 PM at St. Jude’s Parish Hall in Hinesburg. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, with a burial in the spring.
In lieu of flowers and donations in her name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
