Obituary for Annette Guertin (Dennis)
Annette M. (Dennis) Guertin 81, a longtime resident of Williston died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 25, 2020.
Annette was born in Burlington, the daughter of Henry J. Dennis and Rose (Vashaw) Dennis and grew up in Williston. She attended the Burlington Schools where she met her husband of 62 years, Ronald Guertin. They eventually moved from VT to Woburn, MA in 1959 where they started raising a family. Annette loved being a homemaker where she was able to raise her children before they were of school age. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, as well as playing bingo, taking ceramic classes and eventually learning how to bowl and being on a bowling league. In 1977 they decided to move back to VT and made their home in Williston.
Annette is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Guertin of Williston, their son Ronnie Guertin from Anaheim, CA, daughters: Cindy LaForce and her husband Mark LaForce of Essex, VT. Kimberly Richards of Addison, VT. Their Grandchildren: Rob MacLeod, Heather McSweeney, Brandon Richards, Logan Drexler, Shawn Richards and great grandson: Tristan McNight.
Annette was predeceased, by her parents Henry and Rose Dennis, Brother: Gary Dennis, Sister: Carole Pecor, and daughter Lori MacLeod.
Services will be this Spring or at a time when we can all be together. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
